A LAUNCH OF SUPERHERO PROPORTIONS
Comic book and graphic novel producer Fan The Flame Concepts, LLC needed to create a big splash for the launch of their newest superhero comic property – Neymar Jr. Comics. Working in partnership with two other agencies in South America and Europe, and in coordination with Neymar Jr.’s management team, we conducted a global PR launch for the new comic book line, targeting soccer and sports media, entertainment journalists, comics reporters, and other specialty media.
The Launch resulted in 115 original articles and news segments in 27 countries. Extensive coverage from ESPN, included a news article the day it launched, a feature-length profile of Fan The Flame along with the making of the comic book, a video package showcased on their website, and TV programming. Additional coverage included Sports Business Daily, The Sun (U.K.), Evening Express (U.K.), L’Equipe (France), EuroSport, and the top major dailies in Brazil, including O Globo and O Dia in Rio de Janeiro.
